Meet Dr. Glatzer

Ronald J. Glatzer, MD, MBADr. Ronald J. Glatzer is a board-certified Ophthalmologist in Fort Lauderdale and Delray Beach, Florida and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Academy of Ophthalmology and is sub-specialty trained in Retina and Vitreous. Dr. Glatzer graduated from the University of Vermont, Magna Cum Laude, and Phi Beta Kappa. He is a graduate of New York Medical College and completed his Internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Glatzer obtained his Residency training in Ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

A recognized authority in his field, Dr. Glatzer is an active member in a number of medical societies and has instructed courses in vitreous and ultrasonography. He has served the South Florida community for over 30 years and has received numerous awards including a place in the “Best Doctors in America” for the last four years. He is also recognized as one of the “100 Best Physicians” by South Florida magazine. Dr. Glatzer also serves as an advisor on the editorial review board for iHealthSpot, Inc., a leading provider of website and award-winning patient education to the medical industry. Dr. Glatzer was born in Fairfield Connecticut and grew up there and in Forest Hills, New York.
